Hard to believe that the final week has arrived! It seems like just yesterday that we were gearing up for athletes to arrive at Copper Mountain in Colorado. It's really been an amazing season-- wrap up post to come soon!
For now, here are some fun photos of recent Winter Term happenings;
Julia Schneider took 3rd place in the Women's Pro Skier-Cross competition at Mt Snow last weekend. Holy awesome! Congratulations Julia, we miss you already!
We're hosting the USSA U16 Eastern Championships this week. Weather on Monday was amazing-- congratulations to Hanna and Blake on their strong finishes!
Roomies! Lily made it to today's GS races. She passed on some of that Silverstein MoJo to Hanna... who landed herself in the top- 10 today!
NYSEF U14's tore it up at the NYS U14 Champs held at Gore two weekends ago. JoJo, Inez, Hugh, Sarah and Andrea qualified for Eastern Champs and did really well... way to go U14's!
Fun shot of the Moguls crew at Eastern A Champs at Waterville. Emma, Jake and Brett did awesome and are off at Nationals now.. good luck team!
A look at Monday's Super-G course. Gulp! In awesome shape, thanks NYSEF Race Crew, volunteers and event organizers!
Did we mention that NYSEF, ORDA and Saint Lawrence University co-hosted NCAA Championships in XC and Alpine? It was an amazing opportunity for all of our kids to witness some seriously high-level skiing, and to see some of the planet's finest student athletes in action.
Also, our Nordic Winter Term crew just returned from an awesome week of racing at Junior Nationals in Truckee. Catch the awesome highlight video produced by the Auburn Ski Club to see how the races went:
That's it for now-- stay tuned for the end-of-season recap!
